Glowbeat Terms.
These cover your use of Glowbeat, the Mac app for Govee smart bulbs made by Phil Woolley. They're short on purpose, and they follow the shared Phil Woolley terms of use.

Glowbeat is free. There are no ads, no subscriptions, no in-app purchases, and nothing to unlock.
02License
Glowbeat is open source under the MIT license. You can use, copy, change, and share it, including building your own version, as long as you keep the copyright and license notice. The MIT license is the one that governs the code. These terms add a few plain-language points about using the app.
03Your bulbs
Glowbeat has only been tested with Govee H6004 bulbs. Other Govee lights may not work, or may behave differently. Glowbeat is an independent app and is not made by, endorsed by, or affiliated with Govee. Govee and Govee Home are trademarks of their owner. Your bulbs are also covered by Govee's own terms.
Party mode can make lights flash quickly. If you or anyone in the room is sensitive to flashing lights, including people with photosensitive epilepsy, use Glow or the Dreamy feel, or skip Party mode.
04Acceptable use
Use Glowbeat on bulbs you own or have permission to control, on your own network.
05No warranty
Glowbeat is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied. There is no guarantee that it will be error-free, work with every bulb or network, or be fit for any particular purpose. Timers only run while your Mac is awake, so don't rely on Glowbeat as an alarm or for safety lighting.
06Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Phil Woolley is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, Glowbeat. Glowbeat is free, so where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid for it.
07Changes
If these terms change, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new effective date. Continuing to use Glowbeat after that means you accept the updated terms.
